Cross Country Ski Trip, Door County
Join Skilaufers for a cross country ski weekend during the Fish Creek Winter Festival. We’ll stay at the
Birchwood Lodge (www.birchwoodlodge.com) in Sister Bay on Friday and Saturday nights. We’ll ski at
Peninsula State Park on Saturday. Park sticker and trail pass required. The park has snowshoe trails, hiking trails and a sledding hill, too. Equipment can be rented in Fish Creek.
Friday evening there will be a Chili supper for those who arrive early enough. One morning we’ll share a breakfast in the farmhouse at Birchwood. We plan to provide some refreshments at the ski shelter in the Park on Saturday. Other meals are not included in the trip fee. We’ll plan to find a fun places to dine together. There is an indoor pool and hot tub at the lodge. “Door County Idol” Finals are at the Door County Auditorium in Fish Creek on Saturday night at 7 pm.
