Home Depot Parking Lot, Verona Road

The third Adopt-A-Highway cleanup will take place Tuesday September 7. Skilaufers maintain a stretch of Highway 151 near Verona, and we carpool to the highway from the Home Depot parking lot on Verona Road. Bring work gloves and wear some type of walking shoe/boot and long pants because the DNR is not mowing often and the grass may be long; some people do wear

shorts in warm weather.

We will go if the weather looks iffy. Do not come if it's raining or any threat of lightening. Call Marilyn Rayner at 833-3988 if the weather is questionable or misting. Wednesday September 8 is the rain date. After the roadside is cleaned, the crew will stop for food

and beverages. Another cleanup date will be scheduled for October.
