The Madison Trust for Historic Preservation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the
architecture and historical heritage of the Madison area, offers Historic Walking Tours throughout the
summer months. All tours last about one hour, cost $5, and include a free beverage at a locally-owned
restaurant in the neighborhood. Tours are informative and fun – a great way to learn more about

Saturday July 17, 11 AM – Mansion Hill West: Sandstone and Prairie
Meet at the Plaza Tavern and Grill (319 N Henry St) at 10:55 AM
Saturday August 7, 11 AM – King Street: the Beginning
Meet at the granite arch (corner of Webster, Doty and King Sts) at 10:55 AM
Saturday Sept 11, 11 AM – Mansion Hill East: First Historic District
Meet at the Edgewater Hotel lobby (Langdon St and Wisconsin Ave) at 10:55 AM
